Centre de Compétences de Capteurs CMOS à Pixels Intégrés
The C4Pi facility gathers the complete set of expertises required to define, design, validate and operate monolithic CMOS pixel sensors dedicated to radiation detection. The main domain of application for the sensors created by C4Pi is charged particle tracking for subatomic physics. The two main missions of the facility consist in developing new sensors for specific experiments or applications and conducting upstream R&D to further enhance the sensor performance. C4Pi equipments in micro-technology allows to build on demand integrated electronic systems with its own sensors or other detection devices. Serial production for large experiments can also be considered.
