ICI

A multi-scale imaging approach from the molecule to the whole animal thanks to its wide range of advanced commercial and custom-built optical systems:
- laser scanning and spinning disk confocal for FRAP, FRET, photo-manipulation and photo-ablation
- multiphoton for intravital and large samples imaging
- light-sheet for in vivo imaging
- Live-SR for super-resolution microscopy
- correlative light-electron microscopy (CLEM)
- technological development with custom-built optical systems

Dedicated users training and support with a team of experts. All users receive extensive training to autonomously operate the microscope(s). The team of experts is dedicated to provide a high level of support and advices from samples preparation protocols to the final image processing and analysis steps thanks to the multidisciplinary background of the facility engineers in physics/optics, cell biology, chemistry, informatics and image processing.

Training in quantitative bio-images processing and analysis.

Teaching and education. The facility is a partner in the teaching programme of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Ecole Supérieure de Biotechnologie de Strasbourg (Strasbourg University), Strasbourg University and Telecom Strasbourg of Degree, Master and PhD programs.
